In 1998, he founded Odyssey Advisors, Inc., offering a wide range of services such as employee benefit consulting, traditional pension plans, 401(k) and other DC plans, and retiree welfare (OPEB) plan consulting.

With a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and many industry certifications, Parker is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, an Associate in the Society of Actuaries, a Fellow in the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, and is enrolled by the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries.

With Parker’s extensive industry knowledge, he has worked with qualified and non-qualified retirement plans as well as retiree welfare programs including the costing, funding, and design of employee benefits. Parker works with a wide variety of clients creating custom solutions to fit their unique needs.

Before joining the Odyssey team Francis was an analyst at Mercer and participated in managing a wide range of employee benefits ranging from Defined Benefit and & Defined Contribution plans (including, cash balance, ESOP, Union and non-qualified plans), employee and retiree health (including medical, dental, life and disability) benefits.  The varied experience has helped Francis understand and appreciate the value of communicating total benefits packages to clients and employees in a straightforward and integrated manner.

Francis’s background began with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire and he has completed the exams required for an associateship with the Society of Actuaries.

Francis has lived all over the Northeast and currently resides in Connecticut with his wife, children, cats, dog, and chickens. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing with his kids, weight training, hiking, barbecuing, and skydiving.

When she’s not producing content, Stephanie’s spending time with her husband and two children, exploring surrounding towns in search of the best brunch spot and trying her best to work it off with some hiking.

Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at Angelo State University.

Recently, Luke achieved significant professional milestones by becoming an Associate in the Society of Actuaries (ASA), a Member of the Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), and an Associate of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (ACA), solidifying his expertise in the actuarial field. 

Outside of work, Luke enjoys spending time outside, going to the beach in the summer, and watching movies.

Samantha graduated cum laude with a BS in Mathematics from Northern Illinois University and is currently pursuing an associateship from the Society of Actuaries.

Kurtis has been heavily involved in designing and implementing solutions for the changing needs of municipalities under GASB 74 and 75. He enjoys making complex OPEB reporting understandable so that municipal clients can manage their OPEB plans effectively.

Before joining Odyssey, Kurtis worked for Prudential Financial in the annuity and retirement income department. At Prudential, Kurtis gained an understanding of the retirement industry.

When he’s not in the office, Kurtis is often helping the community through activities at his church and volunteering with several community outreach organizations.
